Liberty came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Lewis-Palmer, but Rylee Edmondson wouldn't allow it. The Lewis-Palmer Rangers managed a 47-43 victory over the Liberty Lancers on Saturday thanks in part to Edmondson, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Liberty had strong showings from Samira Gantt, who went 6-for-15 on her way to 20 points and seven rebounds, and Emma Hill, who scored eight points in addition to 13 boards and three blocks.

The win made it two in a row for Lewis-Palmer and bumps their season record up to 13-10. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

Lewis-Palmer will take on Standley Lake at 2:00 p.m. on March 1st. Standley Lake will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lewis-Palmer surely won't give up without a fight. Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
