After flying high against Candlelight Christian Academy on Thursday, Families Instructing Students HomeSchool came back down to earth. The Hawks fell 3-1 to The Rock on Friday. Families Instructing Students HomeSchool were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Rock apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 9-1-2. As for The Rock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-1.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Elfers Christian on the 14th. As for The Rock, they will square off against Riverbend Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
