Softball Recap: Dwight Find Success

Dwight lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Woodland, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's match. The Trojans never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Monday. The Trojans not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29th (when they won 22-6).

Dori Wilson was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Raegan Brown was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Dwight hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodland struck out seven times.

Dwight's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Woodland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Dwight will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
