Football Recap: Avenal Sets Scoring Season-High Against Farmersville + How To Watch

Avenal scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 27-14 to the Farmersville Aztecs. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aztecs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Avenal's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Farmersville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. As for Farmersville, they will square off against Orosi at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Aztecs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
