Volleyball Recap: Forestview Jaguars vs. Kings Mountain Mountaineers
Forestview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Kings Mountain Mountaineers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-13.
Madison Potter paced Forestview's offense, picking up nine kills. Potter got some help from Isabella Cruz and her 11 assists. Cruz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
Forestview's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kings Mountain, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forestview will challenge Crest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kings Mountain, they will square off against West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
