Football Recap: Madison Velotta Leads Horizon's Defense on Saturday

Horizon won the last time they faced Mountain Range and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks blew past the Mustangs 39-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Horizon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Madison Velotta, Nevaeh Stukas, and Aven Medina picked up one apiece. Velotta got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Horizon's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Mountain Range, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
