Basketball Game Preview: South Terrebonne Gators vs. Assumption Mustangs

South Terrebonne is on a four-game streak of home losses, Assumption a seven-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The South Terrebonne Gators will host the Assumption Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-51, which was the final score in South Terrebonne's tilt against Vandebilt Catholic on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Terriers are ranked 37th).

Meanwhile, Assumption came up short against E.D. White on Tuesday, falling 68-47.
