Soccer Recap: Big Foot Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Big Foot has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harvard Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Big Foot of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

Their goal came courtesy of Ulises Martinez, who's now up to 15 this season.

Big Foot's loss dropped their record down to 10-4-3. As for Harvard, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Big Foot will take on Catholic Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harvard, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wauconda on the 15th.
