Basketball Game Preview: Irving Tigers vs. Lake Highlands Wildcats

Irving hasn't had much luck against Lake Highlands recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Irving Tigers challenge the Lake Highlands Wildcats at 7:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Irving had to suffer through a 70-31 loss at the hands of MacArthur. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lake Highlands waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 65-64 win over the Eagles.

Lake Highlands is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Irving, their loss dropped their record down to 11-18.
