Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Free State Firebirds vs. Olathe West Owls

Lawrence Free State extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 20-15. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Olathe West Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Lawrence Free State's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Taylor Stucker, who had nine digs and one assist, and Brinley Whitney, who had nine digs.
