Nash Central and Rocky Mount are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Nash Central Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Rocky Mount Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Nash Central took a four-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Franklinton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Nash Central narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Franklinton 5-4. The victory was just business as usual for the Bulldogs, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

They hit Franklinton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Madison Bridgers (2), Kaylee Faile (2), and MacKenzie Whistler.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rocky Mount, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Bunn on Tuesday as Rocky Mount made off with a 7-1 win. The Gryphons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Rocky Mount now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Nash Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Nash Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Rocky Mount in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 5-3. Will Nash Central repeat their success, or does Rocky Mount have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
