Basketball Recap: Box Elder Piles Up the Points Against Heart Butte + How To Watch

The Box Elder Bears took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 60-24 victory over the Heart Butte Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Box Elder's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Martay Stiffarm-Rosette, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 14 points along with eight boards and five assists. That's the most assists Stiffarm-Rosette has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Shareece Raining Bird, who earned five points in addition to ten steals and five assists.

Box Elder's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Heart Butte, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Box Elder and Heart Butte will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bears see the court they'll take on Belt at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Heart Butte, their break will end when they face Chester-Joplin-Inverness at 4:00 p.m. on the 20th.
