Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 8-7 in the process. They walked away with a 12-7 win over the St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 2, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah got a massive performance out of Delaney Maranell, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was Maranell's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Weber, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Mary Catholic only managed seven hits.

As for St. Mary Catholic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 2, 2019, but that streak is no more.

On St. Mary Catholic's side, Ainslie Liddy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Emily Vogel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah and St. Mary Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Resorters (ranked 208th) will meet Southern Door (ranked 76th) at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, St. Mary Catholic will challenge Winneconne at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (284 vs. 49).
