Mansueto dropped their record down to 6-7 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell 10-7 to the Golder Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Leopards of the 14-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

As for Golder, they moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their one-run performance the game before.

For Golder's part, the team relied heavily on Yadier Kelly, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Kelly a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Drysch, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mansueto will take on Kelly at 4:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Golder, they will square off against Rauner at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
