Basketball Recap: Nevada Sets Scoring Season-High Against Perry

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nevada). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 83-55 win over the Perry Bluejays. The victory continues a trend for the Cubs in their matchups with the Bluejays: they've now won eight in a row.

Defeat or not, Perry got some senior leadership from Owen Myers and Geren Kenney. Myers went 7 for 17 on his way to 22 points, while Kenney dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. Myers is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gustavo Drahos, who posted nine points.

Nevada's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Nevada didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-52 defeat against Grand View Christian on the 7th. As for Perry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 88-32 victory against South Hamilton on the 7th.
