Basketball Recap: East Bay Beats Robinson for Their Fourth Straight Victory

East Bay waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They secured a 51-45 W over the Robinson Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natalie Ashburn, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. Ashburn has been hot recently, having also posted three or more blocks the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Niamaya Fraser, who went 5 for 10 en route to 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

East Bay is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Robinson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.

East Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Robinson has also already played their next contest, a 47-34 loss against Chamberlain on the 30th.
