Recap: Brookesmith Mustangs vs. Lohn Eagles
In what's become a running theme this season, the Brookesmith Mustangs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 86-22 victory over Lohn. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-4.
It was another big night for Trey Toft, who scored 24 points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jase Moreno, who scored 17 points.
Brookesmith is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Lohn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Brookesmith will head out on the road to take on Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brookesmith is facing Cherokee at the right time seeing as Cherokee is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lohn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lometa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lometa is coming into the matchup with six straight losses on the road, meaning Lohn will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
