St. Cloud Cathedral came tearing into Thursday's contest with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Melrose Dutchmen 9-0. The result was nothing new for St. Cloud Cathedral, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Melrose from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Nora Simones led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

St. Cloud Cathedral's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Melrose, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.
