Preview: Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles vs. Holland Dutchmen

Cleveland Hill and Holland are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Holland Dutchmen at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Cleveland Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cleveland Hill beat Global Concepts 46-41. That's two games straight that Cleveland Hill has won by exactly five points.

Cameron D'Hilly continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Steffon Morrow, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

After soaring to a 36-point win in their last game, Holland came back down to earth last Friday. They fell just short of Eden by a score of 55-53. While losing is never fun, Holland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 622nd, while Eden is ranked 296th).

Cleveland Hill's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Holland, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

Cleveland Hill couldn't quite finish off Holland in their previous meeting back in January and fell 52-49. Will Cleveland Hill have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
