Crespi skates past Beverly Hills with ease

The Crespi Celts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season. They breezed by Beverly Hills at home to the tune of 80-50. The victory was familiar territory for Crespi who now have three in a row.

Crespi found their leader in underclassman Joe Sterling, who scored 33 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Sterling has scored at least 25% of Crespi's points. Another player making a difference was Peyton White, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.

Crespi's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Beverly Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crespi will take on Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakwood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 721st, while Crespi is ranked 16th). As for Beverly Hills, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Monica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
