Football Game Preview: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Lincoln Lynx

The Roosevelt Roughriders will head out to face off against the Lincoln Lynx at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt has given up an average of 35 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Roosevelt took a blow against Sioux City East, falling 47-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Roughriders have suffered against the Black Raiders since September 25, 2015.

Meanwhile, Lincoln came up short against Ames on Friday and fell 28-21. The Lynx haven't had much luck with the Little Cyclones recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Roosevelt will have to contain Braylin De Jager as he made an impact in Lincoln's last game. He picked up 123 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. De Jager is becoming a predictor of Lincoln's success: when he posts at least 100 receiving yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Roosevelt, their record is now 2-4.
