Beecher is a perfect 10-0 against Illinois Lutheran since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bobcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Beecher will be strutting in after a victory while Illinois Lutheran will be coming in after a defeat.

Beecher took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Grace Christian Academy 56-26. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Illinois Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 50-17 defeat at the hands of Gardner-South Wilmington. The contest marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Beecher will have to keep a close watch on Dawveed Holland and Jace Danzy, a pair of players who had a big impact on Illinois Lutheran's prior game. Holland posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks, while Danzy earned a point.

Beecher's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Illinois Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
