Basketball Game Preview: Albany Warriors vs. Gallatin Bulldogs

Albany is 1-7 against Gallatin since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Albany Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Gallatin Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Albany will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Albany will bounce into Monday's match after beating Princeton, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Albany walked away with a 57-50 victory over Princeton on Friday.

Meanwhile, Gallatin suffered their biggest loss since January 15th on Thursday. They lost 62-42 to Savannah. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Savages are ranked 80th).

Gallatin has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Albany, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

Albany beat Gallatin 46-37 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Does Albany have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gallatin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
