Mt. Pleasant lost against Wilton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beavers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Wilton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Mt. Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Winfield-Mt. Union on the 13th. As for Wilton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mediapolis on the 13th.
