Football Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Freedom fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Pasco on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 27-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Although Freedom took the loss, they still got scores from Bruce Li and Jean Lebrun.

Freedom's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pasco, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Coming up, Freedom will look to defend their home field on Friday against Brandon at 7:30 p.m. As for Pasco, they will head out on the road to square off against Wildwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
