Volleyball Recap: Pike Red Devils vs. Ben Davis Giants
Pike was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Ben Davis Giants.
While Pike was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-22.
Firroune Ouangueye paced Pike's offense, picking up 16 kills. Ouangueye got some help from PP Moo and his 22 assists. Desmond Ryle controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Pike's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pike will venture away from home to face off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ben Davis, they will head out to challenge Tri-West Hendricks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
