Volleyball Recap: Tahoma's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Tahoma had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Auburn Trojans 3-0. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

While Tahoma won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-18.

Lyla Battey had an outrageously good game as she had 17 digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (four).

The win got Tahoma back to even at 5-5-1. As for Auburn, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tahoma will take on rival Kentridge at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Auburn is set to challenge their familiar foe Auburn Riverside at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
