Volleyball Recap: Trinity Prep Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Trinity Prep kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Bishop Moore Hornets. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.

Bishop Moore's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Heekin, who had 22 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Heekin has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isabella Sanz, who had four digs and three aces.

Looking ahead, Trinity Prep will host Master's Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop Moore, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Viera at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
