Volleyball Recap: Dyer County's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Dyer County lost against Collierville back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Choctaws fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 3-2.

Dyer County took Collierville into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking eight-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 21-25, 19-25, 15-7.

Dyer County's loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 28-8-1. As for Collierville, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dyer County will welcome Crockett County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Collierville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Munford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
