Volleyball Recap: Culver Academies Comes Up Short

Culver Academies and South Bend Saint Joseph squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Culver Academies had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Huskies. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Culver Academies saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alana Fischer had 15 digs and two assists. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Fischer.

Culver Academies' loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season.

Culver Academies does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against New Prairie on the 18th.
