Softball Game Preview: Christian Brothers Falcons vs. Inderkum Tigers

Christian Brothers is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Monday. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Inderkum Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Christian Brothers is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Laguna Creek just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 7-6.

Taylor Jernigan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Meanwhile, Inderkum lost 14-3 to Las Plumas on Saturday.

Inderkum saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalie Aboosh, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Christian Brothers' defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Inderkum, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything went Christian Brothers' way against Inderkum in their previous meeting back in March of 2020, as Christian Brothers made off with a 9-2 victory. Will Christian Brothers repeat their success, or does Inderkum have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
