Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mattanawcook, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Red Devils fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 9-7 on Tuesday. The Red Devils have struggled against the Lynx recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Central now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Mattanawcook, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Orono at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mattanawcook will face off against rival Dexter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
