Basketball Recap: Gibson County Falls to Jackson North Side in First Game of Season

Gibson County had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Jackson North Side Indians, falling 75-50. The Pioneers have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jackson North Side can attribute much of their success to Lincoln Woods, who posted 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Cole, who put up 12 points.

Gibson County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-43 defeat against Obion County on the 21st. As for Jackson North Side, they have also already played their next contest, an 85-74 victory against Jackson Central Merry on the 21st.
