 In what's become a running theme this season, Union City gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  17-2 margin over the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Union City.
  Alyssa Tingley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Tingley was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Union City got a  massive  performance out of  Alissa Leech, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.  Danica Williamson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Union City is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record  this season. As for Mercyhurst Prep, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
 Union City will head out on the road to  square off against  Saegertown at 2:00  p.m.  on Monday. Saegertown is on a six-game streak of home wins, Union City a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Mercyhurst Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
