Baseball Game Preview: Mountainside Wolves vs. Glendale Prep Academy Griffins

The Mountainside Wolves will challenge the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountainside has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with five straight defeats, while Glendale Prep Academy will come in with three straight victories.

Friday just wasn't the day for Mountainside's offense. They came up short against St. John Paul II Catholic on Friday, falling 18-0.

Those two runs gave Flyer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eran Maxson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Glendale Prep Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Highland Prep West only posted an OBP of .409.

Glendale Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Mountainside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
