Senior running back Brian Trobel ran for three touchdowns. The win sets up a rematch with No. 8 St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) in the regional semifinals. Mentor beat the Eagles 29-28 in Week 1. Mentor remains No. 13 in the MaxPreps Top 25 National Rankings and No. 9 in the MaxPreps Composite Rankings.

4. St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) – 11-1
Last Week (8): Senior quarterback Conor O'Malley tied a school record with five touchdown passes as the Eagles dominated Euclid 47-9 in the OHSAA D-I regional semifinals. The win sets up a rematch with No. 1 Mentor in the regional semifinals. Mentor beat the Eagles 29-28 in Week 1. St. Edward is ranked No. 26 in the MaxPreps Top 25 National Rankings and are No. 22 in the MaxPreps Composite Rankings.

5. Archbishop Hoban (Akron, Ohio) – 11-1
Last Week (3): Junior quarterback Shane Hamm’s touchdown pass to Kharion Davis on fourth-and-six from the Mayfield 13-yardline provided the difference as the Knights survived the Wildcats upset bid 21-17 in the OHSAA D-II regional semifinals. Hamm also ran for two touchdowns. That sets up a rematch of last year’s state final with No. 5 Washington (Massillon, Ohio) in the regional finals.

6. Washington (Massillon, Ohio) – 12-0
Last Week (6): The Tigers scored on their first five possessions en route to beating rival Massillon Perry 35-7 in an OHSAA D-II regional semifinal. Senior quarterback Aidan Longwell threw five touchdown passes, including three to Andrew Wilson-Lamp. He tossed two to Ohio State recruit Jayden Ballard. The win sets up a rematch of last year’s state final with No. 4 Archbishop Hoban (Akron, Ohio) in the regional finals.

7. East St. Louis (Ill.) – 12-0
Last Week (5): Quarterback Tyler Macon threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns and the Flyers gained 459 yards of offense in a 60-0 win over Richards (Oak Lawn, Ill.) in the IHSA Class AA regional quarterfinals.

8. Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, Pa.) – 13-0
Last Week (7): The Tigers beat Mount Carmel (Pa.) 49-0 in the PIAA District IV Class AA championship game to claim their 27th district title in 29 years. Have outscored opponents 706-26 this season with 10 shutouts.

9. Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, Ill.) – 12-0

Last Week (10): The Warriors beat Madison Memorial (Wis.) 49-13 to advance to the WIAA D-I state final and one step closer to a second straight state championship. Muskego, which scored on seven of eight possessions against the Spartans, has won 27 straight games.
