While Scott didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Sunbright Tigers on Friday as Scott made off with an 11-3 victory. Considering the Highlanders have won six games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Scott is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Sunbright is on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Scott has already played their next matchup (against White County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sunbright, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wartburg Central at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
