Baseball Game Preview: Beaverhead County Beavers vs. Corvallis Blue Devils

The Beaverhead County Beavers will head out on the road to square off against the Corvallis Blue Devils at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Beaverhead County came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-2 to Belgrade. The contest marked the Beavers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Beaverhead County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Hansen, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Corvallis fell victim to Hamilton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Broncs, falling 6-0. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss snapped Beaverhead County's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. As for Corvallis, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
