Basketball Game Preview: Fredericksburg V Victory vs. Fredericksburg Christian Eagles

The Fredericksburg V Victory are taking a road trip to face off against the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.

Last Saturday, Fredericksburg V came up short against Fairfax HomeSchool and fell 48-38. While losing is never fun, the Victory can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Hawks are ranked 44th).

Fredericksburg Christian came out on top against Oakcrest by a score of 51-41. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Fredericksburg Christian's win came from a few key players Fredericksburg V will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Amri Donado, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Riley Thomas, who dropped a double-double on ten rebounds and ten steals.

Fredericksburg Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Fredericksburg V, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10.
