Volleyball Recap: Roy Takes a Loss

Roy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Enterprise Wolves. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Wolves when the teams met back in August of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Among those leading the charge was Oaklee Allan, who had 13 assists and eight digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Enterprise, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Roy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Skyline on the 10th. As for Enterprise, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Farmington on the 10th.
