Softball Recap: Gainesville Takes a Loss

Gainesville was the 5-1 winner over Fort Worth THESA when they last played one another back in March of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Gainesville Leopards lost 15-1 to the Fort Worth THESA Riders on Friday.

Kennedy Dodson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Gainesville dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Gainesville will welcome Celina at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gainesville has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Fort Worth THESA does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
