General Brown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Indian River on Thursday as General Brown made off with a 69-49 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lions have posted against the Wolves since January 20, 2023.

Meanwhile, South Jefferson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-37 win over the Red Raiders. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 444th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

General Brown is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for South Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
