Basketball Recap: Stigler Takes a Loss

Stigler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 67-50 bruising from the Hilldale Hornets. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Stigler now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Hilldale, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Stigler will take on Wilburton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hilldale, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-39 loss against Checotah on the 25th.
