Soccer Recap: Keystone Comes Up Short

Keystone managed to keep up with Brookside until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 6-0 to the Cardinals. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Keystone's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Keystone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Brookside, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Keystone has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Christian Community on the 22nd. As for Brookside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lorain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brookside will be up against Lorain's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.2 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
