Basketball Game Preview: Lakewood Rangers vs. North Ridgeville Rangers

The Lakewood Rangers will venture away from home to square off against the North Ridgeville Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lakewood will be strutting in after a win while North Ridgeville will be coming in after a loss.

Lakewood is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since December 2, 2023 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Bay 48-45.

Meanwhile, North Ridgeville came up short against Berea-Midpark on Saturday and fell 52-45.

North Ridgeville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lakewood, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Lakewood lost to North Ridgeville on the road by a decisive 63-47 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Lakewood, Grace Kingery (who dropped a double-double on 38 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
