Volleyball Recap: East Fairmont Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Fairmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the North Marion Huskies. The Bees were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

East Fairmont was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made North Marion work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24.

Annie Musgrove paced East Fairmont's offense, picking up six kills. Musgrove got some help from Kyah Stump and her nine assists. Finally, Musgrove was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

East Fairmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-26. As for North Marion, their win bumped their record up to 2-10.

East Fairmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lincoln on the 25th. As for North Marion, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Elkins at 6:00 p.m.
