West Iron County can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Stephenson Eagles. For the Wykons, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

West Iron County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 28-30, 25-18, 25-17, 25-23.

West Iron County's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Stephenson, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, West Iron County will venture away from home to challenge Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stephenson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Dollar Bay on the 13th.
