Palma extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from David Garcia. The Chieftains blew past the Aptos Mariners, posting a 42-14 victory thanks in part to Garcia, who rushed for 115 yards and three TDs. Garcia is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Another player making a difference was Jaden Paul, who picked up 99 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 57 yards.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Palma, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Chase Amaral, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Although Aptos took the loss, they still got scores from Caden Bogle and Froylan Lomeli.

Palma's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Aptos, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coincidentally, Palma and Aptos will both be playing Salinas the next time they take the field. The Chieftains will host the Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Mariners will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
