Softball Recap: Blackman Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Blackman's offense. They fell just short of the Green Hill Hawks by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that the Blaze have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Blackman and nudges their season record down to 7-8. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for Green Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-0-2 record this season.

Blackman will take on Siegel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green Hill, they will face off against Coffee County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
