Baseball Recap: Lincoln Charter Takes a Loss

Lincoln Charter saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers by a score of 5-4.

Lincoln Charter saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Canton Bare, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another was Danny Okoniewski, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lincoln Charter's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Charlotte Country Day School, they moved to 5-15 with that victory, which also ended their ten-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Charter will host Christ the King at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Eagles have won five straight at home, while the Crusaders won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Charlotte Country Day School, they will welcome Covenant Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
